Hardware Support For Google Chrome OS Announced.
Google today announced which hardware companies will be supporting their new Chrome Operating system.
Google confirmed that it will be working with Lenovo, Toshiba, Hewlett Packard, Asus, Acer and Freescale. No doubt some other hardware companies will also get in on the act before the Netbook version of the software launches in the second half of 2010.
The operating system is being designed to work with Intel and ARM based chipsets, Google have also said that they will be working with Adobe, this is probably for the operating system to have flash compatibility.
It could well turn out to be a wise more by Google to ship the OS with Netbooks first, as Netbook sales are expected to rise in the next year. Netbooks are a cost effective entry into mobile computing and as Googles new Operating system is open source, they would make the perfect couple.
Our IT Support Essex based company have started providing Netbooks to our customers because of the high demand for them. More and more business people are starting to use netbooks because of their practicality.
